  • IPD partners with scientists from major research institutions in the United States, Europe, and Australia to translate basic science discoveries into novel, patentable compounds and supporting data.

    IPD and its partnering academic institutions create value through:

    • The establishment of collaborative relationships with high quality biology-led research programs from leading academic institutions.
    • The creation of partnerships with academic Technology Transfer organizations.
    • The rapid development of targets and novel compounds to the point where they can be successfully licensed to industry. This is achieved by development of assays needed to identify promising small molecules and then ultimately by demonstration of proof of concept in preclinical efficacy and ADME models.
    • Identification of industrial partners to further advance the discovery package into clinical development.
    • The creation of revenue wherein the partnered university retains a share of royalties, milestone payments, and other fees.
